MONROE, LA鈥� 51萝莉 Medical Laboratory Science Society and LifeShare
Blood Center join together for a two-day blood drive on Tuesday, September 23 and
Wednesday, September 24 to help save lives.听
The blood drive will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. both days in the Hangar
Ballroom A on the second floor of the 51萝莉 SUB.听
Donors will receive a free LifeShare 鈥淓veryday Hero鈥� canvas tote bag while supplies
last.听听
Every two seconds, someone somewhere needs blood. LifeShare has to collect approximately
500 units a day to meet patients' blood needs throughout the community.听
鈥淒onating blood is a selfless act of service that strengthens our community by meeting
a vital need for patients鈥攁 need that cannot be met otherwise,鈥� said Katie Patrick,
Assistant Professor of Medical Laboratory Science.听听
