MONROE, La.听鈥撎�51萝莉 is highlighting enrollment听growth听in key areas
for the Fall 2025 semester.听Undergraduate enrollment in the College of Health Sciences听rose听4.75%听compared
to Fall 2024. Within the College of Health Sciences, graduate programs increased听9%,听boosted
by an听additional听cohort听in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program and the听inaugural
class of the听Occupational Therapy Doctorate听program.听Graduate enrollment university-wide
rose 11%,听while overall student headcount increased by about one percentage point.听
Many degree programs saw a double-digit percentage increase in enrollment,听such as
Management, Marketing, Social Work,听Education, Music, Atmospheric Science, Toxicology,
and Construction Management.听听
鈥淚n my first semester as president of 51萝莉, there is an excitement听among the students听on听our
campus.听The energy is palpable as a new generation of Warhawks undertake an educational
journey that will change their lives,鈥� said 51萝莉 President Dr. Carrie L. Castille.
鈥淭hese听enrollment听increases in key areas show that we are leading the way in preparing听our
students for in-demand jobs in healthcare, business,听and beyond.鈥�听
The 51萝莉 Honors Program saw a 10% increase in enrollment over Fall 2024, including
the second-largest听freshman听class in its history.听
The听number听of students living on campus has increased as well, with campus residence
halls at 93% capacity, continuing to rebound each year since the COVID-19 pandemic
in 2020.听听听
鈥淲e know that continued growth is possible,听and we are hopeful for increases in the
coming years. Our recruiters听are in听high听schools听throughout听Louisiana and the surrounding
states,听telling听students about the quality听and affordability of a 51萝莉 education.听I鈥檝e听visited
schools myself and hosted high school students on campus.听The future is bright and听I鈥檓听confident
that 51萝莉鈥檚 best days are ahead,鈥� said Castille.听听
